Il nostro mercatino della solidarietà

Alunni dell'Istituto Comprensivo di San Fele-Rapone-Ruvo del Monte   A.S.2016/2017

Natale vuole dire essere solidali, Natale è donare: per questa ragione,  noi alunni della scuola secondaria di San Fele, Rapone e Ruvo del Monte, con i bambini della classe V della scuola primaria,  guidati dai nostri docenti, abbiamo voluto realizzare il mercatino della solidarietà.

La nostra Insegnante di educazione artistica, prof. ssa Giovanna Colangelo ha allestito un piccolo  laboratorio dove noi alunni, con entusiasmo e  creatività, abbiamo realizzato oggetti vari (quadri, portacandele, segnalibri, lanterne sul tema degli animali ed anche oggetti natalizi), utilizzando materiale di riciclo: carta, vetro, plastica, CDs.

La finalità  di questa attività è vendere i prodotti realizzati e poter  raccogliere fondi per  sostenere l'Associazione di volontariato  D.N.A ( Diritti-Natura-Animali), per la tutela e la protezione degli animali in difficoltà. 

 E' proprio questo il tema del nostro progetto Erasmus+ dal titolo "PRET A PET", acronimo di Proteggere - Rispettare - Educare - Trattare gli Animali e le Persone con Empatia e Tenerezza.

 " PRET A PET"  vuole educare noi alunni a diventare cittadini responsabili per  prenderci cura degli animali, agendo in maniera concreta, proteggendoli e creando beneficio per la comunità.

Il nostro Istituto ha deciso di sostenere l'Associazione D.N.A.. Essa opera a livello locale per la tutela degli animali liberi in natura, abbandonati, in difesa della loro vita e del loro benessere; i suoi volontari  si preoccupano di combattere il fenomeno del randagismo e dell'abbandono, si impegnano a vigilare sul territorio affinchè animali feriti, affamati o in difficoltà vengano assistiti,  segnalando agli organi competenti eventuali infrazioni o abusi e violenze sugli animali.

Dunque noi alunni vogliamo sostenere, difendere e proteggere gli animali  con il contributo di  tutti, docenti, comunità scolastica, genitori, comunità sociale.

Gli animali non sono proprietà o "cose", ma ESSERI VIVENTI, degni del nostro  rispetto, della nostra amicizia e del  nostro amore.

Solidarity Market

The students from "Istituto Comprensivo di San Fele-Rapone-Ruvo del Monte"   A.S.2016/2017

Christmas means solidarity, Christmas is gift: for this reason, we students of the secondary school of San Fele, Rapone and Ruvo del Monte with the children of the class V of  the Primary school, guided by our teachers,  wanted to realize the market of solidarity.

Our art education teacher, Giovanna Colangelo has set up a small laboratory where we all students, with enthusiasm and creativity,  created various objects (paintings, candle holders, bookmarks, lanterns,  on the theme of animals and also Christmas items), using recycled materials: paper, glass, plastic, old clothes and CDs.

The aim of this activity is to sell handcrafts and raise funds to support the Voluntary Association D.N.A (Rights-Nature-Animals), for the animals protection.

 "PRET A PET"  Project wants  to educate all of us  to become responsible citizens who take care of the animals, by acting  concretely, protecting them and creating benefits for the community, experiencing active citizenship live.

Our Institute has decided to support the Association D.N.A. It operates at the local level for the protection of  animals , abandoned, in defense of their lives and well-being; it also  fights the problem of stray dogs and abandonment.

Volunteers  oversee the territory so that injured animals, hungry or in need are assisted, by reporting to the competent bodies malpractice or abuse and violence on animals.

 So we want to support, defend and protect the animals with the help of all , teachers, school community, parents, social communities.

Pets are not  "things" but LIVING BEINGS, worthy of our respect, our friendship and love.

The days spent in Manisa

The days spent in  Manisa - Turkey have been for us a very great experience; it was the first time we met our new friends from Turkey, France, Greece, Romania. We have known and liked so many thinks...

During the official visit to schools, we appreciated the organisation of the Turkish school as well as the classrooms, the teachers and the students, they were so kind and nice. We listened with pleasure to  the Turkish National Anthem, we liked the traditional Turkish dance of children. We participated to the seminars with great interest, all the activities planned (school visits, official ceremonies at the Town Hall and the Directorate, the cultural visits of Manisa and Izmir, the visit to  Sasali Natural Garden,  the cultural stands)  allowed us to appreciate the beauty of magical places rich in history and traditions. We had the possibility to meet and know new Friends from the European Countries, appreciate the wonderful hospitality of  Turkey and the efficient organisation of the meeting.

 I giorni trascorsi a Manisa  in Turchia sono stati per noi una grande esperienza; per la prima volta abbiamo incontrato i nostri nuovi amici provenienti dalla Turchia, Francia, Grecia e Romania. Abbiamo conosciuto e apprezzato tante cose ...

Durante la visita ufficiale alle scuole, abbiamo apprezzato l'organizzazione della scuola turca, così come le aule, gli insegnanti e gli studenti, si sono mostrati  cortesi e accoglienti. Abbiamo ascoltato con piacere l'inno nazionale turco, abbiamo apprezzato la danza tradizionale turca dei bambini. Abbiamo partecipato ai seminari con grande interesse, tutte le attività previste (visite scolastiche, cerimonie ufficiali al Municipio e alla Direzione Scolastica, le visite culturali di Manisa e Izmir, la visita a Sasali Giardino naturale, gli stand culturali) ci hanno permesso di apprezzare la bellezza dei luoghi magici ricchi di storia e tradizioni. Abbiamo avuto la possibilità di incontrare e conoscere nuovi amici provenienti da Paesi europei, apprezzare la meravigliosa ospitalità della Turchia e l'efficiente organizzazione del meeting.

ERASMUS + "PRET-A-PET" MEETING IN TURCHIA HEDEF COLLEGE MANISA 20-26 NOVEMBRE 2016

L’Istituto Comprensivo di San Fele ha iniziato la propria partecipazione alla realizzazione del progetto  ERASMUS + dal titolo “PRET A PET” realizzando la prima mobilità in Turchia presso la scuola HEDEF COLLEGE  a Manisa dal 21 al 25 novembre 2016.

 L'obiettivo fondamentale del progetto è forgiare cittadini europei e rinforzare lo spirito di cittadinanza europea. 

Il progetto, che rientra nel Programma di apprendimento permanente (Lifelong Learning Programme),  prevede la realizzazione di mobilità presso i 5 paesi partners e attività didattiche formative da effettuarsi  nel periodo compreso tra  novembre 2016 e giugno 2018.

2. Francia (19 - 25 marzo 2017)

3.Italia (30 - 6 maggio 2017)

4. Romania (ottobre 2017)

5. Turchia (marzo 2018)

6.Grecia (maggio 2018) 

Il progetto "PRET A PET"  mira ad incoraggiare gli studenti delle diverse Nazioni Europee a dialogare e condividere i pensieri sul tema: relazione uomo-animale e difesa ambientale; educazione alla cittadinanza attiva ed ecologica.

Esso ha lo scopo di motivare gli studenti per renderli cittadini attivi e responsabili che si prendono cura degli animali, agendo in maniera concreta, proteggendoli e creando beneficio per la comunità, rendendo il mondo migliore.

Il progetto intende

Sviluppare atteggiamenti di curiosità, attenzione e rispetto della realtà naturale;

Sviluppare lo spirito di collaborazione;

sviluppare competenze comunicative ed interattive in lingua inglese;

sviluppare competenze digitali;

migliorare le competenze di base e trasversali nella prospettiva di un apprendimento permanente.

Dal 21/11/2016 al 25/11/2016 si è svolto  il primo incontro tra le 5 NAZIONI GEMELLATE, tenutosi  a Manisa - città della  Turchia occidentale e Nazione coordinatrice del Progetto - con la locale scuola “HEDEF COLLEGE ”.  

Durante l'incontro sono stati realizzati una serie di seminari ed attività formative per l'implementazione del progetto:

 (Creative Thinking seminar,  Critical Thinking seminar, Round Table Discussions, Team brainstorming, CPS Approach, Workshop, Fighting Rejection Exercises, Animal Rights 2.0 Workshop, Becoming an Enterpreuner for the Animals, Painting the Wall of Friendship "Colourful Feeling").

A rappresentare il nostro Istituto Comprensivo di San Fele vi erano: la Prof.ssa Petruzzelli Fausta, docente responsabile e  coordinatrice del Progetto, la Prof.ssa Ferraro Francesca e la Prof.ssa Zappacosta Concetta.  

Questo meeting ha permesso  di conoscere e di confrontarsi con nuove realtà, apprezzando le diverse culture e modi di vita dei vari Paesi gemellati, con uno spirito di comprensione, accettazione, tolleranza ed  amicizia.  

Il soggiorno in Turchia ha compreso inoltre tutta una serie di attività: visite alle scuole e cerimonie ufficiali con la presentazione delle scuole dei 5 paesi; incontri con le autorità locali: il Sindaco, il Governatore e il Ministro dell’Istruzione della città di Manisa. 

Sono seguite visite culturali dei luoghi storici, artistici e monumentali più rappresentativi della città di Manisa e Smirne, visita al Parco naturale Sasali a Smirne, a cui si sono alternati momenti di riflessioni e di studio sulle attività da realizzare nelle successive tappe del progetto.

Sono stati allestiti degli stands dove ogni paese ha potuto mostrare con oggetti, manufatti, opuscoli e brochures, gli aspetti più importanti della propria cultura; il tutto si è svolto in un clima di amicizia, di festa e di  convivialità.

Questo soggiorno ha permesso di far apprezzare ai partecipanti  la bellezza di  luoghi magici sino ad ora sconosciuti, trovando tanta ospitalità, cordialità e nuove amicizie, così che la cultura e l'esperienza umana di ciascuno si è accresciuta ed arricchita.

Sicuramente tale crescita continuerà nei prossimi successivi incontri.

The two best logos

"Pret a pet"- Italy... the beginning

Our school is located in San Fele, a village of 3000 inhabitants, in Basilicata Region, in the South of Italy.                                      

The Comprehensive Institute consists of a school population of about 400 pupils (aged 3 to 14). It insists on the municipalities of San Fele, Rapone and Ruvo del Monte. It includes three complexes of Nursery School (age from 2/3 to 5),  Primary School (from 5/6 to 10)  and Secondary School 1st level (from 11 to 13).  The Secondary School 1st level includes three classes ( I – II – III ) ; at the end of the third year there is the final exam, then students go to the Secondary School – 2nd level (from 14 to 18/19);  after that they can go to the University.

School begins in September and finishes at the beginning of June, then there are the summer holidays which last about three months. Students go to school from Monday to Saturday, from 8.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m, but they sometimes stay at  school in the afternoon to do extracurricular activities.

The subjects they study are: Italian, History, Geography, Maths, Science, English, French, Music, Art, Technology, Physical Education, Religious Education. There are also pupils with special need and a number of immigrated students from Africa.

Our school promotes the full realization of democratic behavior, respecting the values ​​and the fundamental rules of civil society;  duty is the basis for the civil society and the realization of the common good. Happiness, study, autonomy, accountability , rules of discipline are the priority values of Education.

The aim of our participation to the project is to motivate students and encourage them to cooperate with each other, raising awarness of other cultures and ways of life,  developing good models  of empathy towards nature, animals and  people.

“PRET A PET” will motivate students to become active and responsible global citizens who care for animals, who act in a concrete manner to protect them, making the world a better place. In these two years will be promoted an innovative school, different  cultures will be experienced live, skills to live active citizenship will be acquired.

A lot of activities have been realized to inform students on animals rights and the need to fight every kind of cruelty against them.  The respect of animals by the humans is linked to the respect of men among them. Education to observe, understand, respect and love animals, should be taught from  childhood.

In the classes the teachers  had lessons involving all students with discussions, reports, questionnaires… some videos on the exploitation of animals in circuses , zoos, science experiments, have been shown. Some experts( vets, associations…) have been invited at school to give the students more information about the problems of  stray, abandonment, sterilization of animals.  Students  with interest and enthusiasm began their activities: doing drawings, posters, writing messages, poems, about animals. They produced some original and creative works expressing themselves artistically. They  enjoyed  doing their teamwork.

They all became conscious that  all animals were born equal and have the same rights to existence .

A training meeting was organized by our school about EDUCATION FOR ACTIVE AND ECOLOGICAL CITIZENSHIP for the defense of animal rights .

At school  some experts about environment and animals welfare, vets, zoophilic guards took  lessons  about good behavior and protection of animals. All teachers, students and their parents were involved. Vets talked about the need to protect men and animals to avoid illnesses, the necessity to sterilize dogs and cats to prevent stray which is constantly growing.

 The Ecozoofile guards, who are part of the environmental movement ” Fare Ambiente”, have spoken about the laws and regulations which prohibit the mistreatment of animals.

We invited the DNA Association ( Rights-Nature-Animals) and we all, teachers and students, decided to collaborate and support it with concrete actions for the protection of the basic rights of animals. 

DNA is a voluntary non-profit association that operates at local level for the protection of wild animals, abandoned and owned, in defense of their lives and well-being.

DNA  Association  is committed to combat the problem of stray dogs and abandonment, by raising public opinion and with initiatives aimed at a correct relationship between man and animals. All students and teachers,  have decided  to support  the DNA volunteers to help injured animals, hungry or in need, to raise money to buy food and medicines. Students started to have the responsibility of pets

Students prepared the project corners: LET’S ADOPT A PET and  DONATION OF FUR COAT’S CAMPAIGN.

Students  believe animals should be respected as citizens of this earth. They should have the right to their own freedom, their own families and their own life. Students were involved in the activity of "Creating Logos". The most suggestive logos were selected  by the commission, for their spontaneity  and originality.

 The two best Logos of our Institute are:

ü  The hand  represents the union of the five countries  defending the animals  rigths;

ü  The eagle high in the sky is the desire of freedom and the need to put an end to cruelty.

WE ARE AWARE that often man's actions may disrupt the precious balance

of life on Earth

We WANT to respect the balance and harmony of life on Earth

We students, in the same way  we respect  and treat our friends, our parents and our family,

WE RESPECT OUR ANIMALS.
