FOURTH MOBILITY AND TRANSNATIONAL MEETING IN ROMANIA
The Comprehensive Institute of
San Fele – secondary School participated to the fourth transnational
mobility of the ERASMUS + PRET A PET project
in Romania from 15 to 21 October 2017, at the
ANTON PANN school in Ramnicu Valcea.
The mobility in Romania included
the presence of 4 Teachers and 4 students of Class III D and III E (De Bellis
S., Pierri MF, Luisi A., Repole E.), accompanied by the School Manager L. Rispoli, the
coordinator of the project F. Petruzzelli
and the two teachers, M. Pierri and F. Ferraro.
Seminar on assertive communication;
Recycling is Re-creative!
"Share-a-smile"campaign, a creative workshop;
ABC-Animal Debate Seminar;
Theater's reader:
Teaching/Learning the tolerance to re-act;
Labyrint of Emotions: The Human
Inside out- in the town center;
The Fourth Wall of Friendship.
Our students, with enthusiasm and
interest, participated to all the activities, developing their curiosity and
attention to nature, with increased collaboration spirit, increasing their
communicative and interactive skills in English and their skills digital. They
also illustrated:
a digital presentation (Ppt) on
the country, region, school, hobbies and favourite animals;
a Ppt on the "Business Activity" and
the results of the "Solidarity Market" in favour of the animals in need;
they participated with their classes at the
international competition "Short film competition", for the creation
of a story about "human-animal-environment empathy" which was
represented and filmed.
The stay in Romania has included
other activities too :
the visit to the school “Anton Pann” and official ceremony with the presentation of the
schools of the 5 countries; meetings with the local authorities, the Mayor, the
Minister of Education of the City of Valcea;
cultural visits of the most important historical, artistic and
monumental places of the capital Bucharest and of the Parliament Palace;
visit of the "Hippodrome
Center";
visit of Ramnicu Valcea and its Town Hall;
visit of the medieval city of
Sibiu.
There were also moments of
reflection and study about the activities to be carried out in the next stages
of the project.
In the intercultural evening,
stands were set up where the hosted countries showed the most important aspects
of their culture with the display of products and brochures.
Our students wore the traditional
Sanfelese clothes and then presented a modern choreography. Everything was done
in a climate of friendship, cheerfulness and conviviality.
In their travel diaries, the pupils
have described this experience as “unforgettable” for various reasons:
first flight by plane and visit
to a European country;
knowledge of peers from other nationalities;
communication in English;
the discovery of new cultures and
traditions;
sharing
opinions with other peers about the protection of animals.
This meeting allowed us to know and confront us with new realities, appreciating
the different cultures and ways of life of the twin countries, with a spirit of
understanding, acceptance, tolerance and friendship.
Surely this growth will continue
in the next meetings: Turkey (4-10 March), Greece (May 7-12).
